Wild Flowers

The Northwest is rich in wild flowers, from ocean beaches to mountain tops, the dry lands east of the Cascades to the rain forests on the Olympic Peninsula.  Loving all the environs of the northwest as I do, I have followed the trail of blooms over the years and throughout the bloom season, amassing more photos than is reasonable to share on one page.  I’ve chosen a collection I hope you will enjoy.

Place your cursor on each photo to ‘brighten’ the image and read the name. (on a touch screen, i.e. iPad, tap slightly to show name) I use common names, if I have labeled something not quite right, I apologize, if it is blandly wrong please let me know! These are best viewed by clicking to see larger.  Enjoy!
